Cinnamon Syrup at Home

Making syrup at home is a great way to not only save money, but give you the freedom to create whichever flavoring you want.

All you need to do is add 1/2 cup of white sugar, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 3/4 water, 2 cinnamon sticks into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once it’s boiling and the sugar is melted, put it on low for 8 or 10 minutes, until the concoction is reduced by half.

Turn off the heat, add in your vanilla, and set aside. Once it’s cooled, store it in an airtight container in the fridge. You can use this syrup for up to 3 weeks.

Pumpkin Autumn Latte

There are several fall drinks that get people out of bed. One of the most popular flavors that can be added is pumpkin. Adding pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice instead of the maple syrup gives you a wonderful fall drink that everyone adores.

Cold Drinks

Adding ice into your mug is perfect for my ice coffee lovers. Or, if you want something a bit fancier, you can add all of this with some ice into a blender and whip up a wonderful, blended drink. Either way, some people like cold drinks over hot and there are several ways to go about this.

And additional trick to keep your drink from being watered down is by grabbing ice cube trays and either freezing brewed coffee, or milk with flavorings to make sure water doesn’t disrupt your sips.

Add More Ingredients!

If this isn’t autumn enough, there are several other options you can add to make it a bit spicier, like nutmeg or clove! If you’re looking for some sweeter options, you can always add chocolates, like white or milk chocolate sauce, or even Nutella!
