Italian Style Meatloaf

  • Serves 4
  • This recipe may take awhile to cook but it only takes 10 minutes of prep time
  • 450g minced beef
  • 1 1/2 eggs beaten
  • 55g dry breadcrumbs
  • 40ml ketchup
  • 1 tsp italian style seasoning (readily available in most supermarkets)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 4g garlic salt (if this can't be found just season the food as you would normally and add a minced clove of garlic)
  • Can of chopped tomatoes (drained of excess juices)
  • 110g grated cheese (mozzerella is best)


1. Preheat the oven to 170
2. In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together
3. Press into a loaf tin
4. Bake in the oven for about an hour
