Instructions

STEP 1:

ice
sage
sausage

Heat a tiny bit of oil in a frying pan. Get it nice and hot (on my 6-heat electric one i use number 5) and pop in your sausages.

STEP 2:

cook them until they’re cooked all the way through. I usually leave them a little longer because a slightly burnt outside makes them so much better- but not too burnt!

STEP 3:

STEP 4:

onion
sage
sausage

if you haven’t got any onion chutney then chop an onion (half will do) and pop it in the pan while you’re frying your sausages- you may want to add a little more oil so they don’t stick. When they’re burnt on the edges, they should be done.

STEP 5:

STEP 6:

sage
sausage
tomato

when your sausages are finished, cut the tomatoes in half and put them so that the cut sides faces up in the pan- they only need a few seconds to soften up and blacken on the bottom.

STEP 7:

STEP 8:

bread
ice
onion
rocket
sage
sausage
spinach
tomato

spread a bit of chutney/put the fried onion on one half of your bread, put a bit of rocket/spinach on top, then your tomato halves and then slice your sausage lengthways and put on top.

STEP 9:

STEP 10:

ketchup
mustard
onion

if you used an onion they you might want to add mustard or ketchup because it’ll be a little dry, but it should still be delicious!

STEP 11:

STEP 12:

bread
ciabatta
peas

and here’s a link to the recipe i use to make my bread rolls: http://peasepudding.Wordpress.Com/2010/05/06/quick-easy-ciabatta-recipe/
