Light, Airy Microwave Cake
Published Thursday, 24 March, 2011 By Shakira
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons of plain flour
- 3 tablespoons of milk
- 3 tablespoons of oil (olive oil, almond oil, sunflower oil - any will work)
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
Method
In a microwaveable bowl, whisk the flour and milk.
Add the sugar, oil and egg.
Whisk thoroughly for about 5 minutes, until there are plenty of bubbles in the mix.
Place in the microwave.
Leave in for 3 minutes.
When you remove, the mix should have risen considerably, and should be a pale, creamy beige.
Sprinkle some sugar over the top.
Enjoy!

Good recipe but i am a novice with microwave baking and wasn't sure what temperature !

Think that should be self-raising flour so it can rise. How long should it be cooked for and should it be cooked on medium?N
