tuna melt

lovely served hot or cold

Ingredients

• serves 1 to 2 people, depending on appetite.
• 1 can of tuna, drained.
• grated cheese- how ever much u fancy to sprinkle over toast
• 2 slices of bread
• 1/2 a crushed garlic clove,
• mayonaise,
• salad to garnish, oregano to seaon.

Instructions

STEP 1:

1. Toast 2 slices of bread

STEP 2:

2. Drain the tuna and mix with 1-2 tblspoons of mayonaise.

STEP 3:

3. Mix the crushed garlic clove in.

STEP 4:

4. Grate the a layer of cheese on top of the toast.

STEP 5:

5. Then layer the cheese with tuna mayonaise.

STEP 6:

6. Then layer the tuna mayo with more cheese.

STEP 7:

7. Sprinkle over the oregano.

STEP 8:

8. Cook for 10-15 minutes on gas mark 6, or until the cheese is melted.

TIP. This recipe is delicious if you have a toastie marker, just top it with another slice of bread!
