STEP 1:

First, preheat your air fryer to 300°F. If your air fryer doesn’t have a specific temperature setting, you can use the default temperature and preheat it for a few minutes. Line with parchment paper.

On a cutting board, chop nuts of choice until they are in small, bite-sized pieces.

Next, prepare the granola in a mixing bowl, combining the rolled oats, maple syrup, olive oil, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until the oats are evenly coated.

STEP 4:

Place the air fryer granola mixture into the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches if your air fryer is small for even cooking.

STEP 5:

Air fry the granola at 300°F for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket or stirring the granola every 5 minutes to ensure it cooks evenly and doesn’t burn.

After air frying, remove the fried granola cereal from the air fryer. While the granola is still warm, sprinkle the chocolate chips over it. The residual heat will melt the chocolate and create delicious clusters of chocolatey granola goodness.
