1 Onion
1 Clove garlic
2oz split lentils per person
Grated cheese
1 Fry onion and garlic
2 Add lentils with 3x more water (but measure in fluid ounces) eg 8oz lentils with 24 fluid ounces water
3 Bring to the boil
4 Cover and simmer on a low heat for 20 mins
5 Stir in as much grated cheese as you like

Very strange but good recipe, makes the lentils more palatable, however got to find a way of not burning them to the pot!
