Trying to navigate student life on a budget is one of the biggest challenges faced by young Brits across the nation. Of all the everyday expenses that students face, food is by far one of the most important, helping to keep them healthy, nourished and ready to revise.
It’s semester two already and although it seems far away now those exams are creeping up fast. It almost seems strange to be discussing revision only a week or so into February, however with reading weeks fast approaching, now is the perfect time to sort out those revision blues and start like you mean to go on.
Everyone knows that person. That person who, in some magical way, achieves exactly what they want to achieve, when they want to achieve it. Maybe it’s a friend, family member, someone you love or someone you hate. It could even be you.
As a student we are all constantly living off of our loans, making them stretch as far as we possibly can. However it has got to that time of year where we are scrimping and saving until it’s time to go home for Christmas, waiting to come back to start the second semester with the brand new installment of our student loan; therefore it is important to make our food to keep us fuller for longer. With December seeing the beginning of winter and the nights are fully drawn in it is important as well to make sure the food we eat keeps us not only full, but warm.

You may not know where to go, where to start or even what you should be looking for. A few years ago, I was in the same position, so therefore I have come up with ways for you (as a fresher) to remember when hunting for that year long accommodation.
