Your stomach gurgles. The PowerPoint presentation flickers before your eyes. You try in vain to write some useful notes, but to no avail. Is it Fresher’s flu? A hangover? Maybe.

Here we are at the end of my cookbook reviews and we’re finishing off with two very different books… one being cooking on a hefty budget whereas the other is on the other end of the scale, which most students can relate to experiencing, being skint. It’s semester two already and although it seems far away now those exams are creeping up fast. It almost seems strange to be discussing revision only a week or so into February, however with reading weeks fast approaching, now is the perfect time to sort out those revision blues and start like you mean to go on.
