When those three summer months come round, it’s hard to resist the temptation of going on holiday with friends, especially to get away from the 9am lectures and 5,000 word essays. Plenty of research is important, don’t rush into the first thing you see and like, make sure you know everything there is to know about the place and area, don’t go on holiday blindfolded!
Maintaining a regular eating pattern at University can be difficult, with those late nights and late starts, you might feel slightly disjointed with your mealtimes which can in turn lead to unhealthy eating habits… such as snacking.
If you haven’t already been bombarded with leaflets, free lollipops and invitations to join absurd promotional events, you are obviously lucky enough to live in a University with non-aggressive letting agencies nearby. For those of us who do, the mad rush to find a student house to live in for the next academic year could hardly have gone unnoticed. Hunting for housemates, signing contracts, paying deposits… the whole thing is all a bit bewildering.

Thought so. Seeing as you’re only about one month into this cooking for yourself malarkey, maybe it’s time you got some help in the kitchen – that’s not from your mother.
