Kenwood Launches Second Annual Search for Nation’s Worst Cooks
Britain’s worst cooks are being offered the chance to transform their culinary skills and scoop a host of prizes worth over £4,000 - with the launch of Kenwood’s second annual Disaster Chef competition.
There are many ways you can make your uni room feel and look great. On first moving to uni I wanted to make my room look as homely as possible as it can be quite daunting moving for the first time. Adjusting your room to your style can make you feel more comforted in your new surroundings!
The worst bit about revising can be sitting at the same desk, at the same paper of notes for weeks on end. It’s no wonder really that we find any excuse to avoid it, my flatmate once even cleaned the fridge (!) just so she could put off doing any revision for that extra half an hour…
Here we are at the end of the Student Summer Detox with guilt free and healthy snack and treat ideas. For those of you dedicated readers of the SSD (i.e. Student Summer Detox), if anything I want you to have learnt from these blogs is that cooking and healthy eating isn’t impossible or boring – there’s no deprivation or starvation, just enjoying fresh and nutritious food and feeling good on the inside!
So the new academic year is well under way and we are already being set those deadlines before the Christmas holidays approach. This does not mean you have to feel stressed or under any pressure though, being organised is the key to a happy and less stressful time at university and it will leave you feeling reassured of your deadline dates, give you time to sleep and go out and socialise with your friends as well as giving yourself to go home and enjoy time with your family.
