Britain’s worst cooks are being offered the chance to transform their culinary skills and scoop a host of prizes worth over £4,000 - with the launch of Kenwood’s second annual Disaster Chef competition.

Coming into season are some nutritious vegetables and fruits that will warm you up and keep you going through those early morning starts and keep the winter flu at bay. What’s more, supermarkets fresh weekly offers have started to sell these vegetables and fruits at prices that we can all afford!
It’s a nerve-wracking time. Of course, that’s the last thing you need to be told – with manic last-minute packing and enrolment to worry about, you already know. And perhaps you have an inkling of what Freshers’ Week will be like too. But, like many things, it’s hard to know until you’ve actually done it.
Your stomach gurgles. The PowerPoint presentation flickers before your eyes. You try in vain to write some useful notes, but to no avail. Is it Fresher’s flu? A hangover? Maybe.
