1) Preheat the oven to gas mark 3. In a bowl put the meat in and add 1 1/2 tbsp plain flour on top and mix it in the beef. Add the oil into a casserole pot and cook the beef until it's brown then put onto a plate. Add the onion, celery, peas, carrot, potato and tomato puree into the same oil you cooked the beef in. After 5 mins add the beef back in.
2) Add 600ml water and the stock cube and stir until it has melted. Put into the oven and check every 1 hour and add some gravy granules and season with salt and pepper. If you need to you can add more water. Cook up to 3 - 4 hours.
