Meat Fry

Anglo-indian style meat fry :)

Ingredients

  • 3 onions
  • 2 tomatoes
  • few cloves , green cardamom and
  • cinnamon 1 piece
  • 2 tsp of ginger garlic paste (if you don't have ginger garlic paste then you can use 6 to 7 garlic pods and
  • a small piece of ginger finely sliced)
  • 500 grams of beef
  • turmeric powder 2 tsp
  • chili powder 2 to 3 tsp
  • potatoes cut into 2 or 4
  • oil
  • salt to taste

Method

Take a pressure cooker and pour some oil in it

wait for it to become hot,put the cloves , cardamom and cinnamon and let it fry for some time,add the ginger garlic paste and let it fry after 2 minutes put the onions and let them fry till they are golden brown add tomatoes and let it fry for a minute or so, then put turmeric,chili powder and coriander powder ,add the beef ,potatoes and pour 3 cups of water.

cover the pressure cooker and let it cook for 40 minutes .

tasty beef / meat fry is ready

you can replace beef with mutton or chicken but cooking time may differ.

    It can be made without the fancy spices also !!!!!!!!
    and yes it will become a curry if u pour too much of water !
