Slow Cooker Beef

Published Monday, 14 July, 2014 by Charlotte

Beef cooked in the slower cooker with onion and mushrooms

  • Diced beef (amount is up to you, i usually use around 800g so there's enough for 2 and to save some in the fridge)
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • packet of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 or 2 beef stock pots depending on the amount your making
  • gravy granuals

Trim any fat off the beef....

add the beef to your slow cooker, add sliced onion, fill with cold water (enough to cover your meat and veg)

add your beef stock pots and stir in to dissolve

cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, in the last half an hour add your mushrooms to the slow cooker!

also when you add the mushrooms, add gravy granuals (the amount depends on how thick you want your gravy to be!)

check it's all hot & serve with mash potatoes, veg and yorkshire puddings :)
