  • 2 tablespoon of blended shallots
  • 1 tablespoon of blended garlic
  • (blend all these 3 together)
  • Pepper
  • 2 red capsicum and 2 green capsicum ( I like em colourful)
  • Cooking oil (I prefer sunflower oil, its healthier)
  • Salt and sugar
  • 1 inch of thinly slice ginger
  • 1 piece of assam keeping (dried tamarind peel /I have no idea what it is in english but it is sour)
  • 125ml of water
  • 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of thick soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cornflour mixed with water
  • (tips: mix ur cornflour with warm water so its easily diluted)
  • 2 tomatoes cuts in quarters
  • ½ inch of cinnamon stick

#1 heat up the oil in the pan. Saute the blended stuff and cinnamon stick till fragrant

#2 put in the chopped capsicum and ginger. Then the boiled beef slices in.

#3 stir fry them. Then add salt, sugar, assam keeping, the 2 soy sauces, oyster sauce, cornflour and water. Stir fry it for round 5minutes. Then close the lid and let it simmer in a low heat for another 5minutes.

#4. Wala! Serve with white rice.
