Chicken & Potatoes Skillet

A nutritious and filling meal with chicken breast and potatoes



  • 1 large potato, washed
  • 1 chicken breast (boneless/skinless)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • olive oil (or any cooking oil you have)
  • - spices (in order of importance) -
  • black pepper
  • oregano
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • red pepper flakes
  • onion powder (optional)



- chop up a decent-sized potato into bite size pieces.

- place them into boiling water for 7 minutes, parboiling them.

- chop up the onions and tomatoes, set aside.

- drain potatoes and set aside.

- cut up chicken breast


start the skillet with cooking oil and onions, and settle on medium heat. Throw in the potatoes, and add seasoning how you like. Give it a good 6-8 minute head start. Throw in the chicken chunks and tomatoes and let it cook fully, adding more seasoning as desired.

it's done once the chicken is fully cooked and the potatoes are decently browned.

a very simple, fast and practical meal.
