Chicken And Prawn Sweet Chilli Sir Fry

Quick, easy and delicious


  • -chicken breast fillets (can be replaced with tofu)
  • -prawns
  • -schezwan, or uncle ben sweet chilli sauce
  • -stir fry medley vegetables (broccoli, chilli pepper, baby corn, spring onion, mange-out green beans)
  • -chinese noodles (preferably schezwan chilli noodles)
  • -olive/sesame oil
  • optional (for marinading chicken, you do not need to use all of them, these ingredients just make the chicken taste better)
  • -salt
  • -white or ground pepper
  • - chilli powder (depending on how spicy you like your food)
  • -garlic (fresh or granulated)
  • -a little bit of curry powder
  • -soy sauce
  • -time
  • -basil
  • -paprika
  • you can use any other mixed spices etc to give it extra flavour.


1. Slice chicken breasts into small squares

2. Marinade the chicken with all the spices and herbs (optional)

3. Marinade the prawns in chilli powder and garlic (only if you like your food spicy)

4.Chop up all the vegetables

5. Fry the chicken until brown, then add prawns and fry for a few more minutes

6. Add vegetables and fry for further 5 minutes, stirring occasionally

7. Meanwhile, place noodles into a saucepan and boil for about 3 minutes

8. Add sweet chilli sauce into the frying pan and stir for 2 minutes

9. Drain the noodles and add them into the saucepan- this will transfer the flavour

10. Serve
