Add oil to the pan, and chop the red pepper and onion quite chunky. Fry these until they're soft.
once the onions and peppers are soft, you add the chicken to cook, once the chicken is browned, you can make the sauce.
in a separate bowl add a huge dollop of honey, ketchup and a dash of soy cause, and mix this until its all combined, and add a couple of teaspoons of the chinese five spice. You should get quite a rich taste, so keep tasting it to check, you can add more of anything if you feel it needs it.
once you've achieved the sauce you're happy with, add it to the pan and cook until it all becomes sticky. You can cook the noodles while you're doing this as they don't take long at all.
once it's ready you can add extra soy cause to your noodles if you please, and then tuck in!
Very tasty. I made with broccoli instead of peppers as was all in at the time. Nice with rice rather than noodles too.
Oh yea
Fantastic and easy recipe, i didn't have any onion so i put garlic with it, and it was beautiful :d
Made this for dinner, i love chinese style food but all the recipes looked so complicated and needed tons of ingredients! That was a quick and complete and easy meal, plain awesomeness, totally making it again! Thanks!!
Easy to make. Easy to eat.
Slightly spicy chicken dish, cheaper than takeaway.
Fairly easy, quick and super tasty! add rice or noodles and enjoy.
For people who are starting to cook and know the basics.
Dont throw those left overs away from last nights take-away
