Cream Chicken

with mash, new pots or in a pie....!



  • 500 g of chicken pieces, chopped into 2cm chunks.
  • Packet of smoky bacon...roughly chopped.
  • White sauce (either packet, or make your own).
  • tsp of mustard powder


fry the bacon depending to taste...quantities depending on how hungry you are...

fry the chicken in the bacon pan...until brown...

add the chicken and the bacon to the white sauce and simmer on a LOW heat for about 15 mins.

Serve with mash.

You can use this as a filling for a pie - if so, then follow steps as above, the either buy ready made pastry, or make it yourself...line a pie tin, dollop in the creamy chicken, cover with pastry (dont forget to put a small hole in the top to let the steam out) and cook in the oven for 30 mins on 180...check regularly...and there ya have a home made pie!!
