Malaysian Chicken Paprik Rice

Ingredients

  • - White rice
  • - 300 gram chicken cut in cubes
  • - 2 tablespoon of blended garlic ( or 2 chopped garlic cloves)
  • - 5 chopped bird eye chilies (if u like it spicy)
  • - 2 sliced large chilies
  • - 1 smashed lemon grass
  • - 1 kaffir lime leaf
  • - 2 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
  • - 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • - 2 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
  • - 1 cup of water
  • - Chopped long beans
  • - Cauliflower
  • - Young corns
  • - Cooking oil
  • - Salt and pepper to taste

Method

#1 Heat up the oil in the pan and sauté garlic and bird eye chilies

#2 Put in the chicken cubes, water, soy sauce, oyster sauce and tomato ketchup.

#3 Then insert the smashed lemongrass and the kaffir lime leaf then close the lid and wait til its simmer and the chicken is wholly cooked

#4 Once it is cooked, put in the vegetables. Salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 more minutes and it is ready to serve
