Chocolate biscuit cake! Not even any need to bake anything! By Guest Contributor January 28, 2009 Dessert Preparation Time Cook Time Servings0Ingredients150g plain chocolate150g butter2 large tbsp golden syrup225g crushed digestive biscuits25g hazelnuts or almonds toasted and chopped (optional)Instructions Step 1: 1. Melt the chocolate, butter and syrup in a saucepan at a very low heat Step 2: 2. Stir in the biscuits and nuts (if using) until well blended and spread into a cake tin Step 3: 3. Refrigerate for a couple of hours until well set then cut into pieces and enjoy! Step 4: Step 5: These will last for about 2 weeks in the fridge… but they probably won’t last that long!
