A handful (or as much as you are hungry for) of small pasta, i use macaroni but any will work.

1 vegetable stock cube (or chicken, or beef, or half a chicken and half a veg)

enough water to dissolve the stock cube and cook the pasta.

you can adapt this recipe depending on what you have in the cupboards, try adding some carrots and other veg.

Step 1:

Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan and dissolve the stock cube in it.

cook the pasta as the packet instructs.

once cooked, ladle the soup and the broth into a bowl, allow to cool slightly and enjoy!

if you have some bread go ahead and dunk it in, crusty rolls, sliced, even croissants work.
