Home Made Garlic Bread

Great alongside macaroni cheese



  • Baguette, x 1 (big enough to serve 4).
  • 100g / 4oz butter softened (around 20 seconds in the microwave).
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped.
  • 50g / 2oz parsley, chopped.


You will need:

knife, x 1.

chopping board, x 1.

bread knife, x 1.

small mixing bowl, x 1 (for butter).

small spoon, x 1 (for mixing).


1. Add the chopped parsley and garlic to the butter and mix well until combined. Slice the baguette into portions but not all the way through (leave about a centimeter gap keeping the baguette in one piece).

2.Cspread the garlic butter in between each gap and then place in an oven pre heated to 180 degrees for around 8 – 10 minutes until butter is melted and bread is toasted.

3. Serve with the macaroni cheese so diners can rip off as much of the garlic bread as they want.
