Firstly prepare a batter for a large yorkshire pudding. Whisk together 3 eggs with a cup of flour and a cup of milk. Leave to stand for half an hour.
After half an hour preheat an oven to 220 and add 3 tbsp of oil to a oven proof dish. Place the dish in the oven for 5 minutes to heat the oil. After 5 minutes take out the dish and add the batter. Place back in the oven for about 25 minutes.
Whilst the batter is cooking in a pan add the stewing steak, drain the peas and carrots and add them. Simmer until the gravy becomes more fluid, you can add water if you like.
Fill another pan with water, add the potatoes and bring to the boil.
Once the yorkshire pudding is cooked take it out of the dish an put on a plate. Drain the potatoes and place inside. Pour over the stewing steak and veg. Serve.
