Chocolate Almond Macaroons

A really easy and simple dish and tastes brilliant.

Ingredients

  • Eggs(yolk and white separated)- 02
  • castor sugar- 3/4 cup
  • cocoa- 02tbsp
  • coconut- 250 gms
  • ground almonds- 1/4 cup

Method

Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Beat in egg yolks one at a time. Gradually beat in combined sugar and cocoa until sugar is dissolved. Stir in combined coconut and almonds. Spoon mixture onto lightly greased oven tray. Bake in moderately slow oven 15-20 minutes. Cool the macaroon on tray. Make about 40. Enjoy.
