Chocolate And Strawberry Sponge Cupcakes

A desert that is simple but tastes lush!

Ingredients

  • 1. 100g (4 oz ) of butter, softend
  • 2. 100s (4 oz ) of granulated sugar
  • 3. 2 eggs
  • 4.100g (4 oz )of self-raising flour
  • 5. Strawberrys
  • 6. Coco powder
  • 7. Paper cases
  • 8. Cupcake oven tray- 8 or more holes

Method

Preheat oven to 190dc , 375f, gas mark 5

1. Put butter and sugar into a large bowl, beat with wooden spoon intill mixture s fluffy and very pale in colour.

2. Beat in the eggs adding a tea spoon of flour each time

3.Sift the rest of the flour into the bowl

4. Mix in a figure of 8 with a tablespoon

5.Chop strawberrys into tiny cupes

6. Add to bowl and with it add coco powder

7. Stir well

8. Add into paper cases

9. Put in oven for 20 to 30 min

10. Decorate how youwant, i suggest strawberry or chocolate icing

    Yes, however i think it goes lightly slopy but that fits some peoples tastes

    Could we use maida instead of self raising flour??
