1, mix the flour salt and butter in a bowl til it resembles breadcrumbs. Mix in the sugar.
2. Add the egg a little at a time and make into a moist dough.
3. If your using it at a later date cling film and place in the fridge.
when using it for tarts roll out on a lightly dusted surface of flour. Make sure it's bigger than the flan ring or case. Line the ring and blind bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Leave to cool when cooked.
