Easy To Make Swiss Roll

Easy, but with a great finish

Ingredients

  • 50g Caster sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 40g self raising flour and 10g cocoa or 50g self raising flour

Method

1. Put eggs and sugar into a bowl. Whisk with electric whisk on full blast for 15-20 minuites.

2.Sprinkle on flour (and cocoa)

3. Fold in the flour/cocoa

4. Put in the oven (You need a baking tray that is lined with greaseproof paper) for 5 mins

5. Flip onto a wet teatowel

6. Add the jam with knife

7. Roll and push

8. eat the great creation

    It didn't mention on what temperature and time should the swis roll should be baked in the oven

    I'm doing this at school , i love this recipe, my teacher said grease proof paper to help roll, can you ell me a way i could add cream without the cake splitting when i roll it up, thanks x

    Hi, at school i will be doing this, my teacher says to use grease proof paper to help roll it, can you please put up something about adding cream inside without having the cake split when rollins as the cake will have to be cool x thanks, great recipe
