Egg Free Cookies

Published by Matt

I discovered these by accident

  • NO EGGS!
  • 12oz Self Raising Flour
  • 8oz Soft Margarine
  • 8oz Caster Sugar
  • 2oz Dark Chocolate Drops (or anything else you fancy putting in; smarties, white chocolate drops, raisins etc.)

1 - Mix the ingerdients together in a big bowl, use your hands to knead the dough, it shouldn't be at all crumbly, so add a little more margarine if it is.

2 - Take a small ball of dough, about the size of 1 and a half ping pong balls and squeeze it so it's a circle about 1.5cm thick

3 - Place on a greased tray.

You can make between 16 - 22 cookies, so use 2 trays.

4 - Cook in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 15 mins.

5 - Eat them while they're hot! Taste magic with a glass of milk :)

This recipe is gorgeous! my hubby is diabetic so I modified it slightly to make it a little less sweet -
    12oz Self Raising Flour
    4oz Soft Margarine
    2oz Trex
    4oz Splenda Brown sugar
    1oz Dark Chocolate Drops
    2oz raisins
once I had made the dough I used 2/3 to make 12 large cookies and the other 1/3 to make an x-large heart shape cookie - well that's hubby's Valentine's gift sorted!!
Thanks for the use of your recipe :-)

Made these cookies the other week at 3.30 am because I couldn't sleep. My partner loved them. They were really tasty! And now Unable to sleep again, I'v just made some more, waiting on the oven heating up! Looked everywhere for eggless Biscuits and found here! Good job!

    This recipe is -awesome-
Instead of mashin it all together in a bowl, we melted the chocolate and butter down, mixed it together and made it into a brownie type mixture.
Tasted really good, and went down well with my housemates :)
