Egg Free Cookies

Published by Matt

I discovered these by accident

  • NO EGGS!
  • 12oz Self Raising Flour
  • 8oz Soft Margarine
  • 8oz Caster Sugar
  • 2oz Dark Chocolate Drops (or anything else you fancy putting in; smarties, white chocolate drops, raisins etc.)

1 - Mix the ingerdients together in a big bowl, use your hands to knead the dough, it shouldn't be at all crumbly, so add a little more margarine if it is.

2 - Take a small ball of dough, about the size of 1 and a half ping pong balls and squeeze it so it's a circle about 1.5cm thick

3 - Place on a greased tray.

You can make between 16 - 22 cookies, so use 2 trays.

4 - Cook in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 15 mins.

5 - Eat them while they're hot! Taste magic with a glass of milk :)

I tweaked it abit by mixing brown and caster sugar, added some cocoa powder to get a light brownish colour, vanilla extract and lots of chocolate chunks. It came out absolutely delicious!

I used normal flour and a bit of self raising flour but because i didnt have enough ingredients i had to less all the other ingredients buy this didnt make a difference. Then i crumbled oreos with some rasisins added too! I used some milk to ease the crumble which worked really well! My cookies are very large but they taste delishous and i will definitely use this recipe again!?
