STEP 1:

Sift the flour and salt in a bowl.

STEP 2:

butter
rum

Add the butter and rub in with the fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.

STEP 3:

Mix with enough cold water to form a firm dough.

STEP 4:

Knead gently on a lightly floured surface. Roll out and use to line a 20 cm/8 in pie plate.

STEP 5:

Trim the edge and decorate with the prongs of a fork.

STEP 6:

Squeeze your Hartley’s Smooth Squeezy Jam in the centre of the pastry.

STEP 7:

Bake in a preheated oven at 200c/400f/gas mark 6 for about 20 minutes until the pastry is golden and the jam is bubbling.
