Honey Comb/ Cinder Toffee

Like the inside of a Cadbury's Crunchie, Simple and Yummy!



  • 100g Caster sugar/ Golden Caster sugar
  • 3 Big table spoons Golden syrup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonated soda


Line any tin you can get hold of and line with baking paper.

Put the sugar and Golden syrup in a pan and heat on a medium heat for ten minuets, until metled together and bubbling slightly.

Add the bicarb and whisk HARD with a fork/spoon still it starts to bubble and puff up.

Poor into the tin and leave to Harden. Once hard smash with anything really, hammer, rolling pin, your hand and ENJOY!

It's also really good to give as gifts in a decorated box, or bag :)

Make sure you put the pan and fork/spoon you whisked with in hot water to soak otherwise it goes rock hard and it will stay on the pan forever.
