Jam Shortbread Biscuits

soft, sweet, and lovely



  • 90g of icing sugar
  • 60g cornflower
  • 185g of plain flour
  • 250g of butter
  • Jam (raspberry, strawberry, apricot)
  • (Makes 25-30)


Step 1:

Preheat an oven to 180°c gas mark 4 and grease your pan

Step 2:

Mix together icing sugar, corn flower and plain flower until very well mixed.

Step 3:

Cut the butter into cubes, and then put in one cube at a time mixing them gently with your finger tips. Make sure there are no lumps of butter left in the mixture.

Step 4:

Make small ball and make a hole in the middle to put the jam in, don't make the hole to deep other wise the jam will go right through it.

Step 5:

Then place it into the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until goes light gold colour.

Step 5:

Wait for them to cool down until they are warm because they are very delicate when hot, then add your jam flavors to the biscuits inside the hole you made earlier, serve while still warm and enjoy
