Norwegian Waffles

Published Friday, 14 June, 2013 by Summer

Not a week goes by in a norwegian home without a waffle being eaten!

  • 500 g plain flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • 500 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 ml melted butter
  • optional - drops of vanilla essence and a pinch of cardamon for flavour

Make a smooth batter with the flour, baking powder, sugar and milk.

beat in the eggs and butter (and vanilla and cardamon).

let the batter set for 30 minutes before cooking in a waffle maker.

**if the batter seems too thick, just add more milk
