Preheat oven to 220 degrees/gas mark 7
Grease baking tray
sieve flour into a mixing bowl. Add the margarine/butter and using fingers mix until it looks like breadcrumbs.
Stir in the sugar and dried fruit.
Crack the egg into a small bowl and whisk with a fork. Add it to the mixture a little at a time. Then add the water, then stir.
Using hands form the mixture into small heaps and then place on to baking tray.
Bake for 15 minutes.
