Mix the sugar, butter and golden syrup. Add the vanilla essence and chocolate chips. Mix together. Shift the flour and baking soda into the mixture a bit at a time while mixing together. Bake at 200 degrees for 20-30 but keep your eyes on them as they burn easy.
Vegans do not eat butter
Quite amused by the use of butter here. That is all.
Well this recipe has clearly been written specifically for vegans who have knowledge of substitutable vegan ingredients. Vegan butter is named Nuttelex. And the chocolate chips are made vegan by the brand Sweet Williams. This recipe is fabulously vegan and really helpful in comparison to every other vegan cookie recipe I've found! Great job (-:
Chocolate chips too!? This is soo full of milk! Haha.
i agree with you there george, however you can get really cheap dairy free marg which im sure will do the job... ill have to try this sometime when i run out of eggs :)
Now I'm not too sure but surely putting butter in a vegan recipe is just plain ridiculous... Maybe just call this "normal cookie".
We've got you covered for dinner tonight!
