Cottage Tuna Open Sandwich

Yummy and Healthy Tuna Sandwich



  • 1 tin of tuna, drained
  • 140g cottage cheese
  • 80g tomatoes, skin and quartered
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • Worcester sauce
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 2 tsp margarine
  • 2 slices of bread
  • (Serves 2)


Start by putting the tuna, cheese, tomaotes, onion, tomato puree and a dash of Wrocester sauce into a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Spread bread with margarine, place one lettuce leaf on each then top with tuna mixture evenly between the two slices of bread and serve!

Try using other sauces too - such as sweet chilli or just plain mayonnaise.
