Szechuan Chilli Prawns

Quick easy chilli prawns!

Ingredients

  • • Raw Prawns 200g
  • • Cornflour ½ tbsp
  • • Sugar 1 tsp
  • • Light Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
  • • Chilli Sauce 1 tbsp
  • • Water 2 tbsp
  • • Half a Red Pepper
  • • Two Spring Onions
  • • Oil 3 tbsp
  • • Egg Noodles
  • • Sesame Oil 2 tsp

Method

Preparation:

• For the Chilli Sauce simply combine the cornflour, sugar, soy sauce, chilli sauce and water in a jug.

• Chop the red pepper into thin slices and the spring onions into angled rings.

• Deshell the prawns if necessary.

Cooking:

1. Put Noodles to boil

2. Stir fry the pepper and spring onions until it begins to look cooked

3. At this stage add the prawns and cook until they are pink/opaque throughout

4. Add the chilli sauce and stir fry for a minute

5. Drain noodles and add sesame oil before serving
