Step 1:

  • Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees
  • Step 2:

  • Rub the butter and flour together with your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs (be patient, it takes a few minutes!)
  • Step 3:

  • mix in half the sugar (50g) into the flour/butter mixture
  • Step 4:

  • cut the fruit up into similar sizes so it cooks evenly
  • Step 5:

  • put the fruit in a large, oven suitable dish and sprinkle on the rest of the sugar
  • Step 6:

  • put the flour/butter crumble topping evenly on top
  • Step 7:

  • put in the oven for 30/40 minutes, or until the crumbles brown
  • Step 8:

  • serve with a big dollop of ice cream, cream or custard.
