Lentils And Quinoa

Healthy side dish



  • Serves 1
  • 100g quinoa
  • 100g red lentils
  • half vegetable stock cube
  • about half a pint of water.


1. Boil the kettle.

2. Rinse the quinoa.

3. Add the lentils, quinoa and stock cube to a pan.

4. Pour boiling water over the quinoa and lentils so it covers about 1cm over them.

5. Bring to the boil and break down the stock cube.

6. Turn down the heat and allow to simmer until the excess liquid has evaporated. Stirring occasionally to make sure it doesn't stick to the sides.

7. Drain the mix to make sure all the liquid is off and voila!
