Perfect Potato Wedges

Delicious home-made potato wedges for 4!



  • 2lb floury potatoes (king edward or maris piper etc)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • sea salt


1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius.

2. Wash but do not peel the potatoes. Dry them off with kitchen paper and chop into large wedges (4 to 6 per potato depending on size), then dry them again.

3. Put oil and a little sea salt into a large freezer bag and add wedges and shake to coat.

4. Place wedges on a shallow baking tray and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and crispy on the outside.

perfect served with mayonnaise, ketchup or sweet chilling sauce!
