Zero Calorie High Fibre Noodles

Published Monday, 01 April, 2013 by Louise

No really!

  • 1 packet of shiritaki or "zero" noodles ( buy from oriental supermarkets and health food stores)
  • 1 stock chicken-beef-vegetable stock cube

1 rinse the noodles to remove the fishy odour. Don't panic! This is entirely normal and goes away after rinsing.

2 dissolve stock cube of your choice in 300ml boiling water

3 add noodles to the water and place in microwave for 3 minutes

Amazing! I've had to give up koka noodles now i'm on ww, and these are 0pts yet they are high fibre and very very filling! Also they cost much less than the unhealthy koka noodles
