It’s got to that time of year where students are leaving uni, either full time or just for the summer and are heading off on holiday. If you are I am very jealous! It’s important you have everything you need packed and ready in your suitcase, here’s a checklist of things you might need and […]
Can you feel the cold snap yet? Yep, autumn is coming – and whether you love the cold or not, fear not! Coming into season are some nutritious vegetables and fruits that will warm you up and keep you going through those early morning starts and keep the winter flu at bay. What’s more, supermarkets fresh weekly offers have started to sell these vegetables and fruits at prices that we can all afford!
Christmas – it’s the most wonderful time of the year. It also means the end of a long, tiring but exciting term (especially for you fresher’s) at University. So seeing as most of us won’t be spending much of Christmas with our new found friends at Uni, why not make a day of it before everyone heads for the old homestead...
Time flies when you’re having fun, and before you know it you’ll be packing your stuff back up even though it only seems like yesterday when you moved in. Hopefully for most of you in first year at Uni, living in halls of residence has been a good experience, sure it’s never a smooth ride for anybody but hopefully you’ve had fun, met some great people and most importantly enjoyed yourself.
When those three summer months come round, it’s hard to resist the temptation of going on holiday with friends, especially to get away from the 9am lectures and 5,000 word essays. It’s important however to be responsible when booking a holiday, and to not scrimp and save the important bits! Plenty of research is important, don’t rush into the first thing you see and like, make sure you know everything there is to know about the place and area, don’t go on holiday blindfolded!
