Step 1: In a microwaveable bowl, whisk the flour and milk.
Step 2: Add the sugar, oil and egg.
Step 3: Whisk thoroughly for about 5 minutes, until there are plenty of bubbles in the mix.
Step 4: Place in the microwave.
Step 5: Leave in for 3 minutes.
Step 6: When you remove, the mix should have risen considerably, and should be a pale, creamy beige.
Step 7: Sprinkle some sugar over the top.
