Step 1:

  • In a microwaveable bowl, whisk the flour and milk.
  • Step 2:

  • Add the sugar, oil and egg.
  • Step 3:

  • Whisk thoroughly for about 5 minutes, until there are plenty of bubbles in the mix.
  • Step 4:

  • Place in the microwave.
  • Step 5:

  • Leave in for 3 minutes.
  • Step 6:

  • When you remove, the mix should have risen considerably, and should be a pale, creamy beige.
  • Step 7:

  • Sprinkle some sugar over the top.
  • Step 8:
