Set the pasta on to boil.
Heat the oil in a pan and add the chopped onions and garlic, brown the onions for a few minutes.
Add tin of tomato, tomato puree to taste and some water to make it suitably saucy.
Drain and add the tuna, simmer for about 15 minutes stirring every now and again. Add the herbs and chilli powder and salt and pepper to season.
Drain pasta and mix in the sauce, add cheese on top!
This can also be made into a bake.
I think everyone should give this a go as I have given this dish to friends who primarily hated tuna!
