Oil a saucepan and put on a medium heat.
Slice or dice the onion and add to pot.
Crush garlic and add to the pot.
Slice the sausage thickly, to make meatball sized bites, and add to pot.
Brown the meat.
Add the passata and the herbs to the pot.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer.
Cook pasta and drain.
Add the pasta to the sauce and serve.
Grate some cheese on top if you like.
