Name: Popping Chocolate Fridge Cake
Ingredients: Golden syrup (4 table spoons); Butter (200g); Plain chocolate (100g); Crushed digestive biscuits (250g); Crushed rich tea biscuits (100g); up to 300g of chopped fruit and nuts; Popping candy (50g)

Instructions

Step 1:

line a roasting tin with greaseproof paper

Step 2:

melt the syryp, butter and chocolate together in the microwave

Step 3:

add the crushed biscuits, popping candy, fruit and nuts and mix thoroughly

Step 4:

spoon into the tin and level it off with a round-bladed knife

Step 5:

chill for 2hours in the fridge (30mins in the freezer) and cut into squares.

Step 6:

Serve from the fridge.
