Sausage Casserole

Ingredients

  • half an onion
  • 3 table spoons olive oil
  • 2-4 sausages
  • 1 tin harrico beans (or somthing like)
  • 1 tin tomatoes
  • 1 tea spoon sugar
  • pepper
  • mixed herbs
  • plus some veg
  • (e.g.s - a pepper, mushrooms, peas, ect.)
  • (need a pan that will go in th oven)

Method

slice onions & put with oil and other veg and fry on a med. heat till onions are soft and golden.

cut sausage into pieces put in with onions. turn up heat. fry till brown on the outside (don't need to cook them through yet)

drain the beans then add them too

also add the tomatoes, pepper and herbs.

put lid on

oven 200 degrees Celcius, 30min.

goes well with crusty bread.

serves 3.

    Thank you, just the recipe I was looking for, although I will use a whole onion, and have 6 portions with half sausage in each portion.
