1 Pot -20 Minute Easy "paella"

1 pot, less mess, chorizo, prawn, peppers, rice, tinned tomato

Ingredients

  • 70g chorizo,
  • 1 bag of frozen prawns (i got mine from tesco) ,
  • 1 red pepper 1 green pepper,
  • 100g rice,
  • 1 can tinned tomato
  • 1 tbs tomato puree
  • 500ml boiling water

Method

1 - fry the chopped chorizo in the pot for 3 minutes

2 - throw in the peppers for 1 minute

3 - add the boiling water, rice and tomato puree, mix around a bit, then cover the pot with a lid and leave to simmer on a medium heat for 13 minutes - giving it a stir every now and again.

4- fling in the prawns for the final 3 minutes

5- nom-nom-nom

    No prawns, used cumberland sausage instead of churitso...
    it was still nice, i imagine far better with the proper ingredients though :p
    i borked up your recipe but even so it was delicious, next time i'll go shopping first.

    This is an amazing recipe! Gorgeous smoky meaty flavour, and it lasted 3 days there was so much from it! Very good hangover cure too ;)
